Calum is officially obsessed with, Football Manager 2009, even though he does not own the game and doesn’t like the fact where Coventry City are in 2009, plus how under rated they are in a fictional game.

Playlists were created for Rik, Luke and Brooke (A Friend of Pint Club) by me hopefully all fitting their tastes in music (I Hope).  During which we all agreed that, Los Campesinos, are awesome!

Calum is excited about Stereophonics on December 15th I know because I’m going as well also, Calum, Marc and I are going to see the Rabble at the, Bivouac, but Luke is going to see Slipknot the same day.  Proving Luke cannot count days in a month to miss the pint club outing at the Bivouac shame on him

Rik believes people only with a certain level of intelligence should be allowed to vote, which lead to Luke calling him a ‘fascist ‘(The Defamatory case will be reported later in the year lol) also he believes that, Barack Obama, needs to be more boring.

I have changed drinks 3 times in one day; is that a good idea? Luke likes his Fosters, Calum drinks ale, I think it is too bitter, Marc loves The Netherlands with his drink of choice, and Rik once again drinks Guinness extra cold.

High-pitched jingle bells are just annoying as we found out from the bar workers with their seasonal flashing headbands on, which we don’t have anything against but when you hear a Atari version of it for the 12th time in an hour it gets annoying.  The Shed offers free electricity as we found out when I need this Mac charging up when typing up notes and showing Calum Football Manager.

Never Mind The Buzzcocks is awesome (There is no need to elaborate on that point)

Who is the best band in Lincoln? This was a quick argument between Luke and me.  Which I am obviously right in saying it is Dancing Lotus but Luke thinks it is The Living Daylights.  We will swap CD’s and come to a conclusion soon.

Calum had man flu this week but even if he is ill, Calum made it Pint Club, unlike Rik who did not last week, as he is lame.

Xmas is here, there’s a tree and everything plus we have seen the Coca-Cola advert on T.V.  Calum believes it isn’t Christmas  until the 14th of December when it is his birthday.
Rik should carry the rules of pint club with him at all times, and he makes up an excuse that he has to many notebooks (typical)

Luke can type whilst staring at Marc which kinda looks weird and Marc still hates everything, except Muse (according to Luke) Marc is gay for Matt Bellamy  (again according to Luke) and obviously Luke still hates Muse (But I don’t why either)

Channel 4 is awesome but Hollyoaks fails! (simple)

Luke thinks there is a subliminal ideas on the pregnancy message on his tobacco, Rik’s tobacco allows a permanent scarf according to the new warnings and Marc wants to try space cakes not working how much it will cost due to the credit crunch, idiot

Finally if you type Google into Google the Internet breaks and If you divide by 0 the world will end. So DON’T TRY IT

I went to this film believing that it would be a classic Smith film, after his last release of Clerks 2. I thought it showed Smith’s growth in film as he could of done a Clerks sequel with lots of “I’m not even supposed to be here today” lines, and call backs to original film.   But he made it into its own separate feature featuring the same characters and showing the characters growth

The film hits all the Kevin Smith bases, with the usual use of colourful language and using his genius writing skills to create an incredible comedic script. An example of this would be when the characters are trying to come up with porn titles of films they could spoof off, this also shows Smith’s love for films and his creativity is shown through the amount of spoof titles he comes up with.  The film also has a splattering of slapstick, which is becoming a larger part in his films.

Seth Rogan and Elizabeth Banks play the main parts in the film, with them both being best friends who run into trouble when they cannot afford to pay their electric, heating and water bills as well paying the rent. In order to solve these financial discrepancies, they need a plan; they decide to make a ‘porno’. The film features fan favourite, Jason Mewes, not as Jay but as a wannabe ‘porn star’.   The film also stars a range of cameos from Hollywood, actors and legends such as, Tom Savini and Brandon Routh.

The only difference with this production is that the film descends from a Smith foul mouth comedy to a RomCom in the final part of the film

It is a normal Smith classic for the fans to enjoy, an amazingly well written script and in a way in which he creates a film that will pull on heart strings as well as to be a harsh blue collar comedy.
